Even when living what others’ might consider to be a ‘successful’ life, it’s possible to feel unfulfilled, anxious, or disconnected. Whether you’re experiencing stress, relationship difficulties, or going through a major transition, therapy can help you gain clarity, confidence and find ways to move forward. I provide psychotherapy to clients in West London. This gives you a safe space to explore life’s challenges, build resilience and find ways to living in a more fulfilling way.

What Brings You Here?

Psychotherapy can change your life for the better but it can be difficult to spot the signs that we need support. Often, we tell ourselves that our problems “aren’t that bad” or that “others have real issues”. It’s important not to invalidate our own experience; in fact recognising and processing our experience can be healing in itself.

Some of the things you might be dealing with:

  • Stress, anxiety, or low self-worth affecting your daily life

  • A career change, promotion pressure, or work-related burnout

  • Difficulties in a relationship that feel hard to resolve

  • A sense of being “stuck” or uncertain about the future

  • Unprocessed trauma that continues to impact your life

Whatever is going on, therapy provides a place to pause, reflect, and move forward.

Why psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is proven to be one of the most effective ways to improve mental wellness and address emotional challenges. We work together to create new ways to help navigate the twists and turns of life.

By using an integrative approach, I work with you to find ways to handle future challenges in a way that feels right for you, allowing you to move forward with calm confidence…you become your own therapist.

Tailored Therapy for Your Needs:

We can either meet face-to-face in my central therapy rooms or we can organise sessions online from your West London home. Psychotherapy can fit into your busy lifestyle, giving you the space to reflect on what’s happening, find root causes, to process and move forward.

A Practical, Thoughtful Approach

If you're looking for a West London psychotherapist, I’d love to help. Get in touch today to start your journey toward clarity and self-understanding. We start with an introductory call to check that this is the right approach for you. These are not therapy sessions but a way to get a feel for the process and to decide if we are a good fit. From here, you can decide whether you want to attend in-person or online. This is completely dependent on what you feel comfortable with and how therapy can best fit into your life.

Meera Moore Danowski Psychotherapist MA BACP

I’m a BACP registered psychotherapist who has experience of helping people (individuals and couples) at life’s most difficult junctions. I have worked within the charity sector, with the NHS, and Mind. I provide a safe, confidential and inclusive space; a space that is 100% judgement free.

Psychotherapy is a personal journey; there is no one-size-fits-all. My approach is trauma-informed and based on an integration of psychodynamic and more cognitive approaches. So what does this mean?

It can be helpful to look at early attachment patterns, behaviours and scripts which can help to uncover outdated modes of operation that can still (unhelpfully) rule our lives today. I work with clients to reframe unhelpful thinking patterns, regulate emotions and learn to relate to others in a healthy way. During our sessions, we explore the connection between mind and body; the physiological expression of psychological stress and trauma (seems obvious, but we pay it little attention). And together, we create a ‘toolkit’ to help you navigate the twists and turns of life.
